As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for tenants, visitors, and staff. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access control systems, managing visitor and employee badges, and responding to security-related incidents or alarms as needed. You will provide exceptional customer service, assist with inquiries, and help to deter unwanted activity through your presence and attention to detail. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required by site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with building management, tenants, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Assist with emergency response activities at the front desk, including providing information and direction to building occupants as needed.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by maintaining a visible presence at the front desk.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Possession of a valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
