As a Security Officer - Retail Site Patrol - Full Time in SAVANNAH, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a major distribution center in the retail sector, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents. You will utilize technology such as alarm panels and access control systems, and your comfort with computers or tablets will support your daily tasks. Exceptional customer service and communication skills are essential, as you will interact with a diverse range of individuals throughout your shift. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors, employees, and/or vendors in a professional manner at the front desk of the location.
  • Monitor access to the premises by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs as required.
  • Assist with the implementation of security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting individuals entering or exiting the location.
  • Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters as needed.
  • Support emergency response activities from the front desk position, including alerting appropriate personnel and following established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
