As a Security Professional Dispatch Patrol in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations within a dynamic commercial real estate environment. Your responsibilities will include monitoring communications, coordinating responses, and assisting with the flow of information to help to deter incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere. You will be the central point of contact for security-related matters, working closely with on-site teams and providing exceptional customer service to all visitors and staff. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Monitor and coordinate communications for the location, dispatching security-related personnel as needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of all calls, incidents, and activities within the location.
  • Assist in the implementation of site-specific protocols and procedures for commercial real estate environments.
  • Communicate with on-site personnel and/or external agencies as required to support security-related operations.
  • Support regular and random patrols by coordinating with field personnel and providing updates on activities around the business and perimeter.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
