As a Security Officer Dispatch Patrol in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring and coordinating security-related activities from a central command post. Your responsibilities will include managing communications, responding to incidents, and dispatching security personnel as needed. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a strong presence and providing clear, professional communication with both team members and visitors. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and coordinate communications for the location, dispatching security-related personnel as needed to respond to incidents and requests.
  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining clear communication with all involved parties.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of all dispatch activities, incidents, and communications for the location.
  • Collaborate with on-site personnel to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment within the commercial real estate setting.
  • Assist with regular and random patrol coordination around the business and perimeter by communicating with mobile personnel and relaying pertinent information.
  • Remain alert to any unusual activity or situations and promptly communicate relevant information to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
