As a Security Guard Armed Healthcare Patrol in Murrells Inlet, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

In this armed patrol position, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to staff, patients, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include responding to incidents, assisting with access control, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication and a caring approach. Pay Rate: $17.65 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and visitors to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related threats and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
  • Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
  • Must possess a valid corrections officer license and/or law enforcement officer license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
