As a Security Officer - Unarmed Chemical Site Patrol in La Porte, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more .

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols throughout the facility. Your presence and attention to detail will help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. You will interact with a variety of individuals, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while remaining alert to any unusual activity. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor chemical and petrochemical areas for compliance with site protocols and report any irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and observing entry and exit points within the location.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards according to Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
• Collaborate with site staff and emergency responders as needed during incidents or drills.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
