As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols throughout the facility. Your presence will help to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. You will interact with a variety of individuals, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related situations as they arise. This position requires you to be comfortable using technology such as computers or tablets, and you will be expected to demonstrate professionalism and reliability at all times. As this is a driving post, a valid driver's license is required. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor for unusual activity or potential hazards during patrols and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with access control by observing entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site procedures.
• Document and communicate any incidents, observations, or issues encountered during patrols to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
• Support the overall security-related operations of the logistics and distribution location by maintaining a visible presence and providing assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
