As a Security Professional - Unarmed Chemical Site in Starks, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a chemical and petrochemical location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the site, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. You will be expected to communicate clearly and respond promptly to any security-related concerns, all while upholding the values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you may be responsible for driving as part of your patrol duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to work at limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
• A valid driver's license in the job state is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
