As a Security Professional - Residential Site Patrol in Hollister, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for residents and guests. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the property to help maintain order. You will interact with residents and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while remaining visible and approachable. This position requires driving as part of your duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of individuals and vehicles at the residential location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activity, or maintenance concerns observed during patrols.
• Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, and staff to address questions or concerns related to access control and security-related matters.
• Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Allied Universal and the site management team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Experience providing customer service is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license in the job state and meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements is required for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
