As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations by monitoring and coordinating communications across the site. Your responsibilities will include managing access control, responding to incidents, and maintaining clear communication with on-site teams to help to deter potential security-related issues. You will be a central point of contact, providing exceptional customer service and demonstrating strong problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Monitor and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing dispatch protocols specific to the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Coordinate communication between on-site personnel and emergency responders to help to deter potential security-related threats or disruptions.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of all calls, incidents, and activities handled through the dispatch center.
• Support regular and random patrols by relaying information and instructions to security personnel throughout the business and perimeter areas.
• Operate communication equipment and security-related technology to monitor activities and report any irregularities within the location.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience or 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
