As a Security Professional – Access Auto Patrol in Vance, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto and more .

As a Security Officer specializing in access control at a premier automotive location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. You will remain highly visible to provide a reassuring presence and deliver exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and assisting with any concerns. This position requires the use of a computer or tablet for logging activities and reporting, and you will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally at all times. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and directing them as needed while maintaining security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
• Support emergency response activities as required, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific emergency procedures.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address security-related matters within the automotive environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
