As a Security Professional -- Unarmed Tech Site Patrol - Full Timein Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. You will use your communication skills to interact with visitors, employees, and clients, addressing their needs and concerns with professionalism and care. This position requires you to be comfortable using technology such as computers or tablets to document your activities and observations. As this is a driving post, a valid driver's license in the job state is required. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor for unusual activity or potential hazards, reporting observations to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with access and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license in the job state is required for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
