As a Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in access control at an educational location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible throughout your assigned area, providing a reassuring presence and delivering exceptional customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures at the location.
• Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and/or entry, verifying identification and credentials as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the campus and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
• Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, including guiding individuals to designated areas and communicating with emergency personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to the campus community.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
