As a Security Professional - Armed Front Desk in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and assisting with visitor management, all while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor. In this armed post, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and responding promptly to any concerns that arise. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a financial institution location.
  • Monitor access to the building, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required by site procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and/or concerns.
  • Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including following evacuation or lockdown procedures as directed by site policies.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

  • Level III Armed Certification required for Texas roles.
  • Armed Guard Card or License preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
