As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a bustling retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to provide reassurance to staff and visitors, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to be prepared to respond to situations with professionalism and composure. You will also interact with the public, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the values of teamwork, integrity, and reliability that define Allied Universal. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and/or activities as required by site protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when necessary, following established protocols.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings while on duty, adapting to changing conditions within the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid Level III armed certification for Texas.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
