Allied Universal is looking for a Lobby Concierge Guest Specialist
Ability to Give the Absolute Best Guest Service for Residents

Must be over the age of 21

Customer service oriented with good communication skills (both verbal and written) 
Prior Hospitality Experience is a PLUS!
Professional image and attitude
Ability to perform duty in formal business attire and maintain attire to ensure a sharp, clean, and professional appearance 
Punctual and reliable with the ability to maintain a consistent schedule

As a Security Officer—residential Access Control in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries, including Residential.

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will be the first point of contact for residents and visitors, providing a welcoming and professional presence. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and assisting with visitor management to help to deter security-related incidents. You will utilize computer or tablet systems to log activities and communicate with building management as needed. Exceptional customer service and communication skills are essential, as you will interact regularly with residents, guests, and staff. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the residential location, verifying identification and/or credentials as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences at the front desk.
  • Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and property management to address inquiries and/or concerns.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, coordinating with Allied Universal and local authorities when necessary.
  • Support a welcoming environment while helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
