As a Security Professional - Residential Site - Weekdays in Columbia, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more .

As a Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in access control at a residential location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain highly visible throughout your shift, providing a reassuring presence for residents and visitors while delivering exceptional customer service. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity within the residential location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or maintenance issues observed during patrols or while monitoring access points.
• Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, coordinating with local authorities and Allied Universal management as needed.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to residents and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
