As a Security Professional - Educational Patrol - Full Time in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more .

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment at an educational location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will be required to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. You will be expected to communicate clearly and respond promptly to any security-related concerns, always upholding the values of reliability, agility, and integrity that define Allied Universal. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the educational environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the campus buildings and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification as required, and helping to maintain order on the premises.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols and providing information as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
