As a Security Professional - Hotel Site - Multiple Shifts in Myrtle Beach, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more .

As a Security Officer specializing in access control at a premier hotel and resort location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests and staff. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the property. By remaining visible and approachable, you will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, assisting guests and responding to inquiries with professionalism. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for guests, staff, and visitors in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Provide customer service by assisting guests and staff with inquiries and directions while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel and resort property, including the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or unusual activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, following established procedures and collaborating with local authorities or emergency personnel when appropriate.
  • Maintain awareness of the surroundings and communicate any security-related issues or hazards to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
