As a Security Officer - Distribution Site - Multiple Shifts in Braselton, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for customers, employees, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the premises. By remaining visible and approachable, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. You will also interact with the public, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to inquiries or concerns. This position is ideal for individuals who are comfortable using technology such as computers or tablets and who thrive in a dynamic retail setting. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal procedures.
• Work collaboratively with location staff and visitors to address questions or concerns related to access control and security-related matters.
• Remain alert and attentive to surroundings, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
