As a Security Officer - Government Site - Evening Shift in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a valued member of Allied Universal, you will serve as an unarmed officer at a government location, focusing on maintaining a secure environment for all individuals on site. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular inspections and monitoring throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your duties. You will also interact with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Complete required reports and logs in a timely and accurate manner as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
• Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and location management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. 
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
