As a Security Professional - Residential Site - Access Control in VALRICO, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment at a residential location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, conducting routine patrols throughout the property, and remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with residents and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the values of reliability, agility, and integrity. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor access points and verify credentials of residents, guests, and vendors to help to deter unauthorized entry at the residential location.
• Provide customer service by assisting residents and visitors with inquiries and directions while maintaining a professional presence.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance concerns observed during the shift.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following established protocols and instructions from Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
