As a Security Officer - Distribution Center Patrol - Full Time in Milpitas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution environment, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of a dynamic location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and coordinating security-related activities, communicating with team members, and responding promptly to incidents or requests for assistance. You will help to deter potential security-related incidents by maintaining a strong presence and utilizing technology to track and report on-site activities. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and resources as needed within the logistics and distribution location.
• Receive and document calls for service, incidents, and emergencies, relaying information accurately and promptly to appropriate Allied Universal staff.
• Maintain detailed logs and records of all dispatch activities, incidents, and communications.
• Coordinate with on-site security-related teams to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity throughout the location.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or contractors with inquiries and directions as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Support emergency response activities by communicating with first responders and Allied Universal management as directed.
• Assist in implementing site-specific policies and procedures related to security-related operations and dispatch functions.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
