Job Schedule:

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Professional to conduct foot patrol and access control of a government building in Naples. The officer will walk the grounds and ensure there are no breaches to the property, suspicious activity or safety and security threats. The officer will also monitor CCTV cameras and conduct access control of the grounds. The officer will ensure no unauthorized vehicles enter the property pursuant to established site post orders.Candidates must have prior law enforcement, corrections or military experienceCandidates must have a clean driving recordCandidates must have a class G license for the State of Florida and be able to provide the most recent firearms proficiency with a 9mm

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report findings according to established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
• Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and/or the public while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Assist with access control and verify identification as required by site-specific policies.
• Document incidents and observations in detailed reports as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
