As a Security Professional - Dispatch Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring access points, managing alarm panels, and coordinating responses to security-related incidents. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter unwanted activity, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. You will utilize computer or tablet systems to document incidents and communicate with team members, supporting a collaborative and agile work environment. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and coordinate communications for security-related incidents and activities within the manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Dispatch security personnel to respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance as needed.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of all calls, incidents, and dispatch activities.
  • Provide customer service by following site-specific policies and procedures, and assist visitors or employees as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with on-site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal management.
  • Support regular and random patrols by coordinating with field personnel and monitoring their status.
  • Assist in emergency response activities by relaying information and coordinating resources as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
