As a Security Guard - Armed Law Enforcement in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to carry a firearm and operate a vehicle as part of your daily duties. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Pay Rate: $21.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and/or activities as required by site procedures.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when necessary.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to any security-related emergencies or incidents as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• *Must have (No Exceptions): 

  • Active driver’s license 
  • Valid Florida Security License D License and G License
  • Fluent, English, and Spanish, required 

       and at least ONE of the following:

  • U.S. Military Service (DD214 Honorable Discharge); or
  • Police/Corrections Academy Certification (U.S. only with Certificate); or
  • Associate's Degree (60 College Credits on Official Transcripts)
