As a Security Guard - Armed Law Enforcement in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to carry a firearm and operate a vehicle as part of your daily duties. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and/or activities as required by site procedures.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when necessary.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond to any security-related emergencies or incidents as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

  • *Must have (No Exceptions): 

    • Active driver’s license 
    • Valid Florida Security License D License and G License
    • Fluent, English, and Spanish, required 

         and at least ONE of the following:

    • U.S. Military Service (DD214 Honorable Discharge); or
    • Police/Corrections Academy Certification (U.S. only with Certificate); or
    • Associate's Degree (60 College Credits on Official Transcripts)
