As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to be prepared to act with professionalism and integrity at all times. You will interact with the public and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the values of Allied Universal. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Mon05:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Tue05:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and activities during patrols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during incidents.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or security-related threats in accordance with site protocols.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

*Must have (No Exceptions): 

  • Active driver’s license 
  • Valid Florida Security License D License and G License
  • Fluent, English, and Spanish, required 

     and at least ONE of the following:

  • U.S. Military Service (DD214 Honorable Discharge); or
  • Police/Corrections Academy Certification (U.S. only with Certificate); or
  • Associate's Degree (60 College Credits on Official Transcripts)
