As a Security Professional - Logistics Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading logistics and distribution location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors. Your primary responsibilities will include managing access control, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring entry points, responding to inquiries, and delivering exceptional customer service. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel in a professional manner at the front desk of the logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs as required by site-specific policies.
• Assist with the implementation of security-related procedures and protocols at the front desk.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Communicate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors regarding security-related concerns or unusual activity.
• Provide customer service by answering questions and directing individuals to appropriate areas within the location.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, following established procedures.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
