As a Security Professional with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure atmosphere for staff, patients, and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will focus on access control, including monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and managing badge access to help to deter unauthorized entry. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the location, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond promptly to any situations that arise. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the healthcare facility, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and information while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues observed during patrols.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations and/or lockdowns when appropriate.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and maintain a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
