As a Security Professional - Education Site - Bike Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a dynamic educational location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the campus, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. You will be a vital part of the team, responding to situations as they arise and assisting with access control and badge verification as needed. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with students, staff, visitors, and/or emergency personnel as situations arise.
• Assist with access control and visitor management in accordance with location policies.
• Remain alert to unusual activities or conditions and report findings to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, or at least 2 years of experience as a security supervisor or manager, or at least 3 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
