As a Armed Security Officer - Financial Site in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a financial institution setting. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to help to deter unwanted activity, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to be prepared to respond to situations with professionalism and composure while operating a vehicle as needed. You will interact with employees, visitors, and clients, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats within the financial institution environment.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, and/or irregularities according to site procedures.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during critical situations.
• Follow all Allied Universal protocols and client-specific guidelines for armed security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
• Previous firefighting experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
