Job Description

Now Hiring Security Officers to work in the areas of Doral, FL! 

 

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help deter unwanted activity, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. This post requires you to carry out your duties with professionalism and integrity, while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to everyone you encounter. Pay Rate: $19.77/per hour

Location: Doral, FL

Full-Time: Thursday- Friday, (10pm-6am)

                  Saturday- Sunday, (6pm-6am)

*Must have (No Exceptions): 

  • Valid Florida Security License D License 
  • 2+ Years Security Experience
  • Required, ability to use computer or tablet  

Minimum Requirements:  

  • Be at least 21+ years of age  
  • Required, comfortable working outdoors in all elements of the weather for the entire shift  
  • Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time  
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience  
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.  
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.  
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.  

  

Responsibilities:  

  • securtySupervise the day-to-day security operations of an assigned client site 
  • Manage a team of security officers, site and/or shift supervisors including hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development, and support 
  • Ensure the client site is provided with high quality security services to protect people and property 
  • Build, improve and maintain effective relationships with both client and employees 
  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities  
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner  
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter  
  • Working environments and conditions may vary by client site  
  • Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner; must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines 
  • Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting;  
  • Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions 
  • Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites 
  • Ability to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
