As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a healthcare location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help prevent potential issues, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry a firearm and demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism at all times. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the values of Allied Universal. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Assist staff, patients, and visitors with security-related concerns and/or directions as needed.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders during critical situations or emergencies at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
