As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail and mall location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. Your responsibilities will include monitoring security-related communications, coordinating responses to incidents, and supporting field officers through timely information and resource management. You will utilize technology such as computers or tablets to document activities and communicate with team members, helping to deter incidents and provide prompt assistance when needed. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and resources as needed throughout the retail and mall location.
• Receive and document calls for service, incidents, and emergencies, relaying information to appropriate Allied Universal team members and/or local authorities.
• Maintain detailed logs and records of all dispatched activities and communications.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, tenants, and staff with inquiries and directions related to security-related matters.
• Coordinate with on-site security-related personnel to help to deter unauthorized activities and respond to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Support emergency response activities by communicating critical information and following site-specific protocols.
• Assist in the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and client management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
