As a Security Professional - Access Control - Full Time in Braselton, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and controlling access points. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help deter unwanted activity, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. You will utilize your communication skills to interact with staff and guests, respond to security-related situations, and document incidents as needed. This position requires a valid driver's license in the job state, as you may be required to operate a vehicle as part of your duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and delivery personnel with access-related inquiries and procedures.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license in the job state is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
