As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the campus, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also assist with access control and badge verification, providing a welcoming presence while upholding security-related protocols. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for educational environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment for the educational community.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and/or crowd control during events or peak periods as needed.
• Collaborate with campus staff and local authorities as required to address security-related matters and support a positive campus experience.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
