As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations by monitoring communications, coordinating responses, and assisting with incident management. Your responsibilities will include operating communication systems, dispatching personnel to various areas as needed, and maintaining detailed records of all activities. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a strong presence and providing exceptional customer service to all personnel and visitors. This position requires the use of a company vehicle, so a valid driver's license in the job state is necessary. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Operate dispatch systems to monitor and coordinate security-related activities throughout the chemical and petrochemical location.
• Receive, document, and relay information regarding incidents, emergencies, and routine communications to appropriate personnel.
• Provide customer service by following site-specific policies and procedures, and responding to inquiries from staff and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of all communications, incidents, and dispatch activities.
• Communicate with on-site security-related personnel to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Support emergency response activities by coordinating with internal and external responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
