As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a prominent government location, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and secure environment for all visitors, employees, and guests. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, managing visitor logs, and responding to security-related incidents or inquiries with professionalism and care. You will be the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service while helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting the overall security-related operations of the site. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and/or credentials as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, staff, and emergency personnel as needed.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following Allied Universal guidelines and client site instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
