As a Security Officer - Healthcare Screener in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Screener in a healthcare location, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for all staff, patients, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and assisting with access control procedures. You will remain visible and approachable, providing exceptional customer service while helping to deter security-related incidents. This position requires strong communication skills and a professional demeanor, as you will be the first point of contact for many individuals entering the facility. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Screen individuals entering the location to help to deter prohibited items and/or unauthorized access, following established protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies or disturbances.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and/or identification as required by site policies.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
• Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
