As a Security Officer - Healthcare Screener Patrols in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Screener with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for all staff, patients, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. By remaining visible and approachable, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. You will also be expected to deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with individuals entering the location, and respond promptly to inquiries or concerns. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Screen individuals entering the location to help to deter prohibited items and/or unauthorized access, following established protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies and other urgent events.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to site procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and monitoring of entry points as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations and/or lockdowns when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
