As a Security Professional - Healthcare Screener in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Screener with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for all visitors, staff, and patients. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and conducting security-related screenings to help to deter unauthorized entry. You will remain visible and approachable, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to everyone you encounter. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Screen individuals entering the location, following established protocols to help to deter prohibited items and/or unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines and site-specific instructions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and/or identification as required by site policies.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
• Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Remain alert and attentive to surroundings to help to deter potential security-related issues within the healthcare location.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
