As a Security Officer - Armed Healthcare Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a healthcare location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. This armed post requires you to be attentive and proactive, utilizing your training and experience to address security-related concerns and support the overall well-being of the location. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed patrol protocols as required by the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence throughout the location.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and local law enforcement as needed to address incidents and support emergency response efforts.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance while representing Allied Universal at the healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
