As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol - Healthcare Patrol in Aston, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a healthcare location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry a concealed weapon and demonstrate a high level of professionalism and responsibility at all times. You will interact with staff, visitors, and patients, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the values of Allied Universal. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal management regarding security-related concerns and/or incidents.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control procedures, including verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site policies.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies, alarms, and/or requests for assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit is required.
• Act 235 Qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
