As a Security Professional - Armed Residential Patrol in South Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more .

As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a prestigious residential community. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to residents and guests, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to carry the appropriate credentials and operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and verify the identity of individuals entering the location to help to maintain a secure environment.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while on patrol to help to identify and address potential security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

*Must have (No Exceptions): 

• Active driver’s license 
• Valid Florida Security License D License and G License 

     and at least ONE of the following:

• U.S. Military Service (DD214 Honorable Discharge); or
• Police/Corrections Academy Certification (U.S. only with Certificate); or
• Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice (120 College Credits on Official Transcripts)
