As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol in Newtown Square, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a healthcare location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all staff, patients, and visitors. You will be expected to respond promptly to any security-related concerns, assist with access control, and communicate clearly and professionally at all times. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or directing visitors as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees.
• Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal and client site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
