As a Cleared Armed Security Officer - DOD Patrols in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a valued member of the Allied Universal team, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a leading aerospace and defense location. In this armed patrol position, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to those on site. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service through clear communication and a professional presence. This post also requires driving as part of your duties, allowing you to cover a variety of areas and situations throughout your shift. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized personnel and/or suspicious activity.
• Maintain detailed records and logs of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local law enforcement as needed during incidents and/or emergencies.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to security-related threats or emergencies specific to an aerospace and defense environment.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols regarding the handling and carrying of firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance required.
• Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. 
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
