As a Security Professional - Government EMT Patrol in Menlo Park, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent government location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by conducting regular patrols and remaining highly visible throughout the premises. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming atmosphere for all individuals on site. This position requires driving responsibilities, as you will be tasked with covering various areas of the location to support ongoing security-related operations. You will also be expected to provide outstanding customer service, respond promptly to incidents, and communicate clearly with both team members and visitors. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
• Support emergency response activities and coordinate with local authorities or site management as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must possess a valid Emergency Medical Technician certification.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
