As a Security Professional - Government Location - Full Time in Bushnell, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting a secure environment within a government location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, conducting screening procedures, and interacting with visitors and staff to help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible and approachable, providing exceptional customer service while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
  • Screen individuals entering the location, following established protocols to help to deter prohibited items and/or unauthorized access.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities, incidents, and observations as required by site policies.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors while upholding site-specific protocols and Allied Universal standards.
  • Remain alert to potential security-related risks and report any unusual activity or concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
