As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols of assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally, responding to situations as they arise and supporting the overall security-related needs of the site. This position may involve working in areas with limited on-site facilities, such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks, offering a unique and dynamic work environment. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors and employees with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and local authorities as needed to address incidents and/or emergencies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid Guard Card is preferred.
• A current CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience working in environments with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
