As a Security Professional -  Armed Financial Site - Full Time in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution location, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and secure environment for all visitors, employees, and guests. This is an armed post, requiring you to maintain a professional presence while monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and responding to security-related incidents as they arise. Your responsibilities will include providing exceptional customer service, clear communication, and supporting the overall security-related operations at the front desk. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a financial institution location.
  • Monitor access to the building, verify identification, and maintain visitor logs to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and/or site management.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter disruptive behavior and promote a secure environment.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activities, and/or maintenance issues according to site procedures.

  • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
  • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
  • Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
